gathering flames …
the arohanui
that heals
*Arohanui is a Maori word not easily translated into another culture’s language but carries something of the following characteristics – enfolding love, that love which binds a community together, that love which creates bonds of mutual trust and loyalty, that love which builds and carries forward culture or civilization.

I want to thank everyone who has sent a positive thought, a flower, a poem, a message or a prayer for my intentions. THANK YOU WITH ALL MY HEART. I am fighting this for all who love me just as I should and will be going in a few hours for my poustinia experience – the dream of a life time.

The tumour is not operable and debulking would gain me little extra time. I totally refuse radiotherapy for reasons I do not want to go into but will continue with present treatments that enable me to each day as best I can.

Thank you, Miroljub, and greetings to you. I have had an extra year already that I had been told that I would never have. It is enough – there is a greater healing in store.

That is very kind of you, Jose. Whatever I appear to be doing is not extraordinary. At heart we all seek to be good stewards of the life and love that is always being poured into each of us unconditionally and without reserve. We own or possess none of it.
