Here is the set list for the concert. The man is definitely the man and
“She’s got everything she needs
She’s an artist, she don’t look back
She can take the dark out of the nighttime
And paint the daytime black”

I have added my own comments as an addendum to this review – whether they get published or not is anyone’s guess. If not, please know that I was enthralled with what Mr Dylan gave us.

All that I knew of Bob Dylan is what I had taken in by osmosis from my elders and, on exploring his work, discovered an ever-evolving someone who has got everything he needs, he’s an artist, he don’t look back. The man does what he does and offers his work to us so that we may travel with him for a while. He will not be pinned down to anyone’s expectations but ruthlessly explores what is possible with word and sound. I was enthralled with his reinterpretations of his songs for an Autumn evening in Auckland’s Vector Arena, where I also happened to be. I was there to hear how he would recreate his songs for that time and place and I am grateful that I was there. I have no time to talk about quality or compare to this or that – I received a gift that will never be repeated.
